No means a negative response; a denial or refusal. This is what the dictionary definition and every body take it like this. Most of the time people mind it when the next person say No to him or her. They think that, the other person is not excepting him. But actually it is not fair thinking. When somebody say no to you, understand that S/he is not in interested in your offer! S/he likes you still! But it is you who mind it and start keeping distance or even break the relationship! This is the biggest mistake by a sales person. Please from now don't do it.
Then will you please reveal the meaning of "no"! Yes. It means "Not tOday. The person to whom you offer something is not ready to take it today. His circumstances or situations are not permitting him today. Or that particular time is not correct for him to grab your offer. A professional sales person should maintain the relationship with him and try to contact him may be after 2 to 3 weeks / months. At that time his situation might be improved and you have done it! Still s/he deny, don't worry again contact him after 2 to 3 weeks/months and keep on.
Let us understand it with an example: One of my friends received call from XYZ private bank to offer a Personal Loan with easy EMI. He straight away said No to the bank representative. After a week or so he got the same call from the same bank. This time my friend replied very rudly and said I alrealy said No last time, please don't call me again. After 2 months same call came from the same bank. And this my friend asked that representative to send some one to home in evening time with personal loan papers!
What you understand from this? Why my friend accept the personal loan offer this time? waiting for your comments...
